The planning had stopped, the sun came out.. and the bouncy castle was ready!!
Bounce For Play 2022 has come and gone and we are delighted to update you that it was a BOUNCING success!! All children throughout the school from Nursery to Year 6 each got to participate… we even had a few teachers who couldn’t resist a bounce (thankfully no injuries were reported 
).
Everyone jumped in groups of 6 and there was fun and laughter (and a bit of friendly competition) throughout the day! On behalf of the PA Committee, we would like to pass on a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated and helped to stage the event…, a special mention goes out to the year 6 children who carried out the most important role of all… Counting the Bounces!
PA funds have already been transferred to the school for artificial grass for the wooden playground, a bouldering wall, playground stencils, netball nets and other equipment, and a mosaic for the peace garden. These additional funds will continue to improve the playground space for the children of the Blue School.
The total raised so far is just over £3700, the funding page will remain open till the end of June.
