Key Stage 1
Following the Government’s announcement, the KS1 tests have been suspended for 2021.
At the Blue School, we will be administering past papers to help inform our teachers’ judgement. These papers will take place in May. The Year 1 phonics screening will take place in school the week beginning Monday 7th June 2021.
Key stage 2
The key stage 2 tests are timetabled from Monday 9 May to Thursday 12 May 2021.
Pupils will no longer complete a test in Spelling, Grammar and Punctuation. A judgement will be given on writing which will be teacher assessed with evidence of pupils’ work.
